A Family business

Atalante was founded in 2000 by husband-and-wife team, Loic and Christelle Lecourt, along with a close family friend. With years of industry experience as a Business Director for a prestigious yacht-sales company – among others – Loic and Christelle developed their own vision of what the word “service” should mean.

It was a vision centered around a set of values: “sincerity”, “authenticity”, “partnership”, “family”. From that vision, Atalante was born – and as a family-run business, we remain centered around these core values to this day.

Organic Growth, Led By Our Clients

To begin with, the small team set about realizing its unique vision of “service” in Yacht Management. Developing a 360 approach to include the administrative side of managing a vessel, the idea was to bring peace of mind to clients so that they can focus on the excitement and joy of yacht ownership.

Little by little, our clients asked us to expand our services to reflect their wider needs, from construction follow-up and shipyard visits to ISM certification and taking on larger yachts. When cherished clients began asking us to manage not only their yachts but their crews too, it was time to restructure our services to reflect the growing and evolving needs of our client-base.

By popular demand, we will continue to develop the “Buy”, “Sell”, and “Charter” parts of our business in addition to our “Yacht Management” services. As the business evolves with our clients, however, Atalante will remain a family-run business that is committed to a simple vision and unique set of values that are at the root of everything we do.
